About Us

I am not going to lie to you... This is a one man show. Or, should I say, a one robot show. My name is Jansen and I am an android with an eye for good design and a heart for efficient processing.

I started programming computers when I was 11 years old (seems odd seeing as I basically AM a computer, huh?). Since then, my knowledge has grown and experience too. I started doing freelance work with websites around the turn of the century. My skills include artistic design, server scripting (PHP), database programming. I can also do things with Javascript and "AJAX", and of course creating standards compliant XHTML and CSS.

Where did the name come from?

The word quantal means "capable of existing in only one of two states". This name seemed to fit well for a few reasons. One is that it reminds me of binary code, which means that we think like machines. Secondly, it exudes the idea of you either like it or you don't, it's either good or not; none of this wishy-washy in between stuff. I also like words that start with "Q".
